1. What is a general cargo?
A general cargo is a separate cargo object that is transported as a unit and not as part of a groupage container. It has its own packaging, labeling and usually does not require special conditions (for example: machinery, boxes, crates, equipment, pallets).

2. What is the difference between general cargo and less than containerized cargo (LCL)?
LCL is cargo in a common container with several customers. A general cargo is your separate cargo, often the entire container (FCL) or a shipment that is not mixed with others.

3. What types of transport are used for general cargo?
Depending on the direction and dimensions – sea transport (FCL), road transport (pallets, trucks), air. We select the best option based on the time frame and budget.

1. Do I need to pack the general cargo additionally?
Yes, the cargo must be properly protected: in pallets, crates, boxes or factory packaging. If there is a risk of damage or overturning, we can provide additional fasteners.

2. Do you provide palletizing or packaging inspection services?
Yes. At the departure warehouse or at our consolidation hub, we can repack, reinforce, label and photograph the shipment before shipping.

1. What documents are required for the transportation of general cargo?
Usually it is:

Invoice

Packing list

Customs declaration

Certificates (if necessary)

We help with the entire package of documents or take care of the paperwork.

2. Do you help with customs clearance?
Yes, we do. We provide full customs support for export, import or transit.

1. How long does it take to deliver a general cargo?
It depends on the route and type of transport:

By sea – from 45 days

By air – from 7 days

We agree on the schedule at the booking stage.

2. How is the price for transportation formed?
The price depends on:

dimensions and weight of the cargo

country of departure and delivery

type of transport need for additional services (insurance, warehousing, etc.)

We create a quote for each order.

1. Is the general cargo insured?
Yes, we recommend insurance to protect the cargo from loss, damage or delay. You can insure both the full value of the goods and only certain risks.

2. How can I track my cargo?
We provide tracking, status notifications at every stage, and a personal manager who will be in touch throughout the delivery.

1. What if the cargo is delayed or the schedule is changed?
We immediately notify you of the changes and offer solutions, such as redirection, reconsolidation, reloading, etc. Our logisticians proactively respond and coordinate the process.

2. Can I combine a general cargo with another?
If you have several types of goods, we can place them in one container or truck, subject to the rules of transportation. We can also combine cargoes from several suppliers.
